The exhibition promises to be an insightful journey into the timeless art of pottery and its enduring significance.

This exhibition presents a rich collection of pottery from various parts of Africa and beyond, showcasing the evolution of the uses and appreciation of clay objects over time. Featuring works by notable artists such as Kwame Amoah, K.K. Broni, Ato Arinze, Kofi Asante, and Yaw Obuobi, the display highlights the versatility and artistry of clay as a medium.

Yaw Obuobi, in particular, has mastered the art of creating yarn and spun wool collages—a must-see feature of this exhibition.

The show also includes selections from private collections, including those of Mr. and Mrs. Asare, Kati Torda, and Abubakar Dukure, as well as contributions from ArtHaus and the Nubuke Foundation’s own collection.

As part of the event, there will be claywork demonstrations by renowned artists Gideon Appah, Franklin Gavua, and Kofi Setordji, offering visitors a unique opportunity to witness the creative process firsthand.
