—Pablo Picasso.
I scribbled, painted, and experimented with any material I could lay my hands on to express my innermost dreams and desires. My favourite pastime was drawing eyes, and I would execute them with pens on tables, walls, covers of textbooks, pages of library books, etc. I found the anatomy of the human eye quite intriguing; I believed it was the connecting window to the colourful world.
Today, I am no longer drawing with pens on desks and other surfaces as I used to in my formative years. Instead, I have moved on to the use of acrylic paints with brushes and palette knives to express my dreams and desires on canvas and other supports.
However, I have not relented in working very hard to discover all there is to be discovered; I am still a work in progress. I believe what is in me will unfold as the years roll by, one at a time.
My inspiration to be the very best of me, and to keep going, comes from my husband and beautiful daughters.
