Nutata:
Mr. Dawson Solo Exhibition

Kofi Dawson

Mr. Dawson is a visual artist versed in all forms of art but places great emphasis on drawing.

His drawings and musings are sometimes an interpretation of life and society. They are also saturated time capsules, shaping an image of the artist’s viewpoint—his hopes, fears, and joys.

He employs an exotic use of colors and movement that draws art lovers into his world and fantasy. Mr. Dawson now works in sketching, drawing, portraits, print, and installations. His current projects include crafting shell ants and bamboo/rattan art brushes.

He held an exhibition of his drawings, Nutata: Drawings by GWK Dawson, at Nubuke Foundation between 23rd May and 14th June, 2009. He was also commissioned to create special postcards for sale at Nubuke Foundation's sales gallery.
