Wiz: Recent Works

Wiz Kudowor

Kaleidoscope!
Of color, of cityscapes, chronicling lives, recounting experiences!

Enraptured by titles like Urban Memoirs II, Fabric of Passion, Procreative Spirit, Eden II, Sign, Folklore II.

That’s Wiz!

This exhibition, titled Recent Works, is far more than just a collection of the artist’s latest creations. It offers an assault on the senses as you step into the gallery space at Nubuke Foundation.

Having not exhibited his works in Ghana for the past four years, Wiz’s return promises visitors a feast for the eyes!

As one of Ghana’s most renowned artists, Wiz deserves to be celebrated. His innovative technique, involving the use of a non-descript roller brush, never fails to intrigue viewers seeing his work for the first time.

The exhibition’s works depict themes of people, religion, sex, heritage, architecture, Ghanaian folklore, Ghanaian symbolism—essentially, the essence of Ghanaian life!

The language of art, as captured by Wiz, is one that everyone must endeavor to understand.

This exhibition is an absolute must-see for all.
